Abstract

A situated perspective of access to ambivalent ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) in the country indicates that any digital transition involves significant breaks of everyday experience. This text analyzes the appropriation of digital devices by rural teachers that installs a certain historical trajectory of the school as an intervener status in the digitization of education. These appropriations represent tense interpenetrations between individual attributes and contextual conditions of access to computers, mobile phones and networks in a techno-cultural environment with increasing acceptance of ICT. The fieldwork identifies historical features of the rural school and brands of the institutional trajectory significant for teachers who appropriate ICT in the classroom and the school. The analyzed testimonies correspond to semi-structured interviews with teachers in public elementary schools from a
department of the province of Córdoba (Argentina) with extensive and commercial agriculture.

Abstract

This research was conducted to examine the Attitudes of Teachers working in public schools towards Sports in terms of Different Variables. The data of the research were obtained from 403 teachers working in Aydın during the 2020-2021 academic year. As the data collection tool, "Attitude Scale towards Sports" made by Halil Evren Şentürk (2012) was used. Descriptive statistics and nonparametric tests were used to analyze the data. Mann Whitney U-test was used for comparisons of two groups, and Kruskal Wallis H was used for comparing more than two groups. The Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of the scale was found to be 0.97. As a result of the research, a statistically significant difference was found as a result of the analysis made between the sub-dimensions of the attitude towards sports in the variables of the teachers' Gender, Education and Branch (p <0.05). In the gender variable, it was concluded that the Attitudes of Female Teachers towards Sports were higher than male teachers in all sub-dimensions of the scale. When the Educational Status Variable is examined, it is seen that in the dimension of Interest in Sports, Graduate Teachers' Attitudes towards Sports are higher than Undergraduate teachers. In the Active Sports dimension, it is concluded that the Graduate Teachers' Attitude towards Sports scores are higher than the Undergraduate Teachers. It was concluded that there was no statistically significant difference between the sub-dimensions of age, marital status, education level and attitude towards sports (p> 0.05)

Abstract

The aim of the study is to examine the gender issues in physical education instruction at several state colleges and university schools in the Philippines. Utilizing descriptive research, data revealed that physical education teachers need to work on delivering subject matter, planning lessons, and developing didactics in a way that is more gender sensitive. More information demonstrated that physical education teachers lacked the education required to discuss gender concepts, regulations, and standards as well as development approaches in instructing physical education. It is advised that gender equality tools, learning resources, and knowledge products be produced and made accessible for usage in the classroom and coaching context in order to increase gender sensitivity in the teaching of physical education. Physical education instructors are also invited to take part in gender and development training to increase their understanding of gender issues and their capacity to give instruction that is gender sensitive.

Abstract

The presence of technological resources in schools and the high performance of socalled «Technology Generation» or «Generation Z» students are not enough to develop students' digital competence. The primary key is determined by the technological and pedagogical skills of teachers. In this paper, we intend to analyze the level of ICT skills of teachers in primary and secondary establishing a competency framework adapted to the Spanish educational environment, using as a basis the standards established by UNESCO in 2008 and reformulated in the year 2011. For this purpose, a questionnaire was done to show the profile of ICT teacher training faculty of the sample (80 schools and 1,433 teachers in the Community of Madrid) to study the characteristics of better trained for the development of teachers was conducted Digital jurisdiction under the Ministry of Education of Spain. The study results show a significant difference between optimal ICT skills and the low skills that teachers really have to develop learning activities with technological tools for their students. Teachers’ digital skills are very important in the development of learning processes to introduce technologies as tools in the service of education, and this study will allow us to make decisions in policy formation and throughout early career teachers.
