Abstract

Leadership its a topic of interest in organizational research because the impact of the leaders and managers behavior in their teams and the results. Thus, the 3D theory of Reddin (1983) suggests that the behavior of managers is related to behavioral styles related to task orientation and relationships. The purpose of this research was to identify whether the factorial configuration, reliability and validity of the Managerial Effectiveness Diagnosis (MED) (Reddin, 1983). For the we use a non-probabilistic random sample of 94’819 participants, all active managers’ companies in Latin America from 2010 to 2014; to identify if the test kept their psychometric values over time. Also we use a non-probabilistic sample of 726 participants to replicate the studies originally conducted by the author. All they were managers with at least one year in the position and one person in charge. Research shows that this remains a useful test without cultural bias that can be used in organizations for information about the behavior to indicate their basic style, management style and degree effectiveness in performing their chores.

Abstract

A partir de la inmersión de la institución Caja de Compensación Familiar Comfenalco Santander seccional Bucaramanga, donde mantienen una unidad de intermediación para el empleo se efectúa un análisis con el propósito de formular una propuesta que mejore el proceso que hace la institución entre solicitantes de empleo y las empresas que ofrecen vacantes. Para lograr este objetivo se realizó una encuesta a funcionarios encargados de cada uno de las etapas del procedimiento conocido internamente como ruta de empleabilidad, y con esta información se construyen estadísticas de eficacia de los procesos y se identifican oportunidades de mejora. Al final se entrega un perfil descriptivo y de indicadores de cómo estos procedimientos funcionan y se dan propuestas estratégicas que permitan mejorar dicha imagen.

Enhancing state regulatory enforcement activity aimed at minimizing risks to the public values (such as health, property, personal data, environment, and cultural heritage) is one of the key priorities of the current governance agenda in Russia. Therefore, monitoring studies intended to identify public perception of the efficiency and effectiveness of regulatory enforcement activities are highly relevant. The objective of this paper is to evaluate the dynamics of the public perceptions of the regulatory authorities’ performance in 2018 – 2011. The subject of the study is regulatory enforcement activities aimed at reducing risks to the public values. The method of the study is a representative sociological survey of the public conducted in 2021. The findings of the survey are then compared to those obtained from previous rounds of the research carried out in 2018, 2019, and 2020. The results presented in the paper contain an analysis of the dynamics in public perception of the effectiveness and efficiency of the state regulatory authorities. The paper concludes that while there are some positive trends in the public perception of the safety of public values from most of the controlled risks, the overall perception of safety levels is unsatisfactory. Most respondents find that the safety of public values is insufficient. Notably, the trends in public perception vary depending on the risk type. The greatest progress is noted in ensuring safety from environmental risks and the risks associated with healthcare services. On the contrary, the public perception of personal data protection is trending downwards. Public perceptions of the regulatory authorities’ performance in processing public complaints have not changed significantly. The novelty of the study is related to the collection and generalization of empirical data on the public assessment of effectiveness and efficiency of the state regulatory authorities based on the annual sociological surveys conducted since 2018. The paper highlights the need for further improvements in state regulatory enforcement activities. In particular, the study recommends streamlining the procedures for handling citizen complaints to state regulatory enforcement bodies and taking additional measures to ensure the protection of personal data and privacy

The federal legislation defines a list of regulatory enforcement activities aimed at minimizing risks to legally protected public values (such as life and health, property, privacy, other human rights, plants and animals, natural habitats). Therefore, monitoring studies aiming at collecting public perceptions of the protection of these public values are highly relevant for tracking the reform progress. The goal of this paper is to identify public perceptions of the extent of protection of public values and evaluate regulatory enforcement performance. The subject of the study is regulatory enforcement activity aimed at reducing risks to the public values. The primary method of the study is a representative public survey, the findings of which are compared to earlier surveys carried out in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. The results presented in the paper include an analysis of the dynamics in public perception of the effectiveness and efficiency of the state regulatory enforcement activities. The paper concludes that while there are some positive trends in improving public perceptions of the safety of public values, the overall level of these perceptions is unsatisfactory. Less than a half of all the survey participants have positive perceptions on any of the risks considered. The frequency of risk events remains high: half of the respondents faced at least one risk in the 2 years preceding the survey. Both time and financial costs borne by citizens applying for protection to the state regulatory and enforcement authorities have not changed significantly. This shows that the efficiency of state regulatory enforcement authorities has not improved in the public view. The novelty of the study is related to collecting and analyzing empirical data to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of state regulatory enforcement bodies, as perceived by the public. The paper recommends streamlining the procedures for handling citizen complaints to state regulatory enforcement bodies and improving public access to information on the ways of protecting public values from the risks.

In recent years, the usefulness of PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) for soft tissue healing has been published. In the gynecological area, it is used to stimulate vaginal and clitoral rejuvenation to recover its function globally, contributing to improving the patient's self-esteem, as well as improving the sexual experience. In the case of labiaplasty, it is indicated in labia minora hypertrophy. Another non-invasive gynecological aesthetic method is the use of Diode laser because it does not require incisions, it is ambulatory and has a fast recovery. At present there are few studies and literature on the matter. Hence, a clinical study was carried out with 28 patients to determine the effectiveness of the application of PRP in labiaplasty performed with Diodo laser, with patients between 20 and 46 years old, who attended consultations due to discomfort, pain in relationships and low self-esteem. 54% presented grade 3 hypertrophy of the labia minora and the remaining 46% grade 2 hypertrophy. After the application of the treatment, 86% did not present complications, only 14% manifested dehiscence. The recovery period was 5 weeks in 50% of the patients. Obtaining a degree of satisfaction in all patients between 9 to 10. PRP has been gaining relevance among gynecological aesthetic treatments, however, due to its recent use there are still few studies that deepen and corroborate its effectiveness. It is necessary to carry out studies in which the clinical evolution, healing and repair of vaginal tissues are evaluated.
