Abstract

Resum: This essay revises the contribution that Catalan poetry of the 1950s and 60s made to the aesthetic trend of realism, or rather neo-realism. Abstract

Resum: The essay offers a revisión of Miquel Martí i Pol’s poetry written between 1957 and 1971. This poetry has been regarded by critics as linked to historical realism, and in our opinión consitutes the literary consolidation of the Roda de Ter-born poet after his his apprenticeship in existential poetry. Throughout five books and a long poem, the authorembodies a double social dimensión in his verse: on the one hand, extemal and collective history, especially achieved through the universe of the village and the factory; on the other hand, the inner and personal history dealing with aspects of his most intérnate experience in themes such as love or the function of poetry.  Paraules clau: Miquel Martí i Pol; poesia existencial; poesia catalana contemporània

Abstract

A partir de l’anàlisi de les relacions personals i artístiques entre el pintor Antoni Miró (Alcoi, 1944) i diversos poetes catalans contemporanis com Joan Valls, Salvador Espriu, Vicent Andrés Estellés o Miquel Martí i Pol, l’article pretén abordar els límits dels discursos artístics i literaris en dues sèries de collages d’aquest artista, "La pell de brau" i "Suite de Parlavà". Les dues col·leccions d’il·lustracions van ser realitzades entre els anys 1993 i 1994 a partir dels poemaris de Salvador Espriu i Miquel Martí i Pol que donen nom a les sèries. La tria lèxica del pintor, com també el desenvolupament conceptual d’aquestes obres, esdevé el punt de partida de la nostra anàlisi per a observar el grau de concreció dels poemes i dels collages, de manera que també hi hem pogut establir diversos paral·lelismes discursius i expressius, com ara els referits al pas del temps, l’angoixa pel passat i l’esperança pel futur. La principal aportació de Miró al sistema conceptual dels dos poetes és, sens dubte, el tractament de l’erotisme del cos femení a l’hora d’abordar diverses reflexions existencials localitzables en els seus poemaris.

Abstract

This article deals with one of the most significant aspects of the poetry of Miquel Martí i Pol during a rich poetic period in the seventies, that is to say the strategy of undoubling which permits an apparent dialogue between the poet and anothe one. This resource is revised in one of the most republished books of the period, Estimada Marta, through the analysis of the formation of the alter ego Marta, which makes possible the celebration of the anniversary of illness and above all, through poetry, the exaltation of desire and imagination.
