Resumen

Las redes sociales digitales científicas (RSDC) han supuesto un importante avance en la difusión del conocimiento en la comunidad científica. Son cada vez más los investigadores que coinciden en la necesidad de estar agregado a alguna de las RSDC por las significativas ventajas de visibilidad e impacto que ofrecen. Esta investigación estudia el conocimiento y el uso de las RSDC en las tres universidades gallegas en 2017. Las encuestas realizadas a 552 docentes/investigadores de las universidades de A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela y Vigo evidencian que el grado de conocimiento y de uso de las RSDC presentan una tendencia creciente, siendo la valoración en cuanto al manejo y utilidad positiva, aunque la frecuencia de acceso a las mismas es todavía escasa.
