Dejan Brkić holds PhD, MSc, and BSc degrees from the University of Belgrade-Serbia, Department of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, and MSc from the University of Niš-Serbia, Department of Mechanical Engineering. He worked for the European Commission between 2013 and 2016 as policy advisor for oil and gas. Dejan Brkić works currently for the Department of Electronic Engineering, University of Niš, Niš-Serbia.
