Abstract

We briefly present our latest research in the field of nonlinear finite element analysis of shell structures. We discuss the requirements for reliable analyses of shells inpractical engineering environments, and present our approach to meet these requirements: the mixed interpolation of tensorial components. Finally we discuss solution for nonlinear problems.
