== Abstract ==
The aim is to research on competent professionals: what are their characteristics, how they perform, which results they obtain and how they learn. Starting from an explanatory competence model of variable geometry, based on a validated contextualised know-how-to-act. The framework for the analysis is a systemic model that allows organising the relevant factors gathered through a literature revision. The model is specified on the profile of the teacher in the context of entrepreneurship training.
