Abstract
The National Pact for Industry 2022-2025 proposes to increase the weight of industry in the Catalan GVA by more than four percentage points. The article asks what other sectors can reduce their participation in order to make this possible. It is concluded that only a reduction both in relative and in absolute terms of the number of people employed in the tourism sector could make this possible.
