Abstract

This study assesses the impact of trade safeguards on Russian exporters. In the period of growth of protectionism observed in recent years, the use of measures to protect the domestic market remains an important factor. Studying the impact of such measures on Russian exporters seems relevant, especially in light of the goals set to achieve the export of non-primary nonenergy goods in the amount of $ 250 billion by 2024 in accordance with the National Project International Cooperation and Export. Currently, about 49 anti-dumping measures are in force against Russian exporters. Russian exports of goods that fall under these measures account for about half of Russia's exports of relevant goods and about 3% of Russia's exports of all goods.
