Curs acadèmic: 2018-2019 This paper aims to review the incursion into the current market for electric vehicles focusing in the incentives and the social determinants that make these vehicles attractive to consumers. For this purpose, it is studied the technical determinants that tell us why this type of vehicle is suitability and the incentives for the population to acquire this vehicles. Also this work aims to review and analyse the initiatives carried out in the Spanish territory for the adoption of electric vehicles, through objective data and reports, and also compare them with the measures carried out in United States and China. It is also intended to review the existing articles on the social determinants in the adoption of electric vehicles to know which are the social reasons that make these vehicles attractive to potential consumers.
