I have a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from the Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila (Mexico), a master’s degree in Industrial Mathematics from the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern (Germany), and a Dr.-Ing. degree from the Universität Bremen (Germany). Currently, I am a Professor and Researcher at the School of Engineering and Sciences of the Tecnológico de Monterrey, working mainly in the programs related to data science.
My main research fields involve mathematical modeling, optimization, numerical simulation, and industrial mathematics, developing advanced algorithmic solutions to address real-world application challenges. I look for high-impact mathematical and scientific computing applications that foster technological development and innovation in both academy and industry. I am deeply committed to high-quality academic mentoring and the transmission of knowledge to the next generation of engineers and scientists.
Besides my academic activities, I am also commited to mathematical applications and data science projects as a consultant across a number of different areas as production, manufacturing and logistics.
