  I work in Optimization. Mainly in Combinatorial Optimization. I try to apply optimization to real problems. Besides, I am interested in computational complexity, combinatorics, graph theory and similar things.

  I started teaching in 1967. First at the Instituto Politecnico Nacional (IPN) in México, The while doing my Ph. D. in Waterloo University, CANADA I did some teaching assistenship. and then at the IPN and UNAM. I have taugth elementary courses in Algebra, calculus, Analytic Geometry and some advanced courses in Numerical Analysis, Optimization, both continuous and discrete, Combinatorics, Graph Theory.
