Abstract

The aim of interculturality is to build a more democratic society through the conceptualization, description and evaluation of patterns of appropriation and reconstruction of meaning among different human groups. This scientific article aims to describe the role of nursing in intercultural health, with special emphasis on the challenges in the Argentinean context. Nursing is a profession that is changing the ways of approaching health from different roles, if current approaches are taken into account, given that different social groups demand in relation to their belief systems, and how they perceive themselves in different socio-cultural and historical contexts. Interculturality expands our performance in the field of health and education, creating new specialties that will take shape in our research advances, so it is important to invest sustainably for our full development, scientific, technological and human, in order to provide a better quality of life for all humanity and all existences of life, to value and create awareness of the cosmogony of all origins.
