The fluid dynamics remains one of the most challenging and dynamic fields in applied mathematics due to its broad applications across engineering and science, including energy systems, aerospace, biological flows, environmental processes, and industrial technologies. Recently, the application of artificial intelligence in fluid dynamics has become a rapidly growing topic in industrial and engineering research. Recent developments in high-performance computing, machine learning, deep learning, and data-driven modelling are transforming the understanding and prediction of complex fluid flow phenomena.
This Special Issue, “Recent Trends of Artificial Intelligence in Fluid Dynamics,” aims to provide a comprehensive platform for scientists and researchers to present recent developments in numerical simulation, theoretical modelling, and interdisciplinary applications of AI-based fluid dynamics. Submissions covering both fundamental research and real-world applications are particularly encouraged, with an emphasis on innovation, scientific rigor, and reliability.
The Special Issue welcomes original research articles, review papers, and short communications, including but not limited to the following topics:
Data-driven and AI-based methods
Mathematical modelling in AI-based fluid dynamics
Dual solutions and stability analysis
Boundary-layer flow problems
Deep learning methods in heat and mass transfer
Wavelet neural networks for AI-based fluid flow prediction
Computational and numerical techniques
