Part 3: Practical Applications International audience Within this paper we present a new concept on deriving test cases from simulation data and outline challenging tasks when testing and validating fully automated driving functions and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Open questions on topics like virtual simulation and identification of relevant situations for consistent testing of fully automated vehicles are given. Well known criticality metrics are assessed and discussed with regard to their potential to test fully automated vehicles and ADAS. Upon our knowledge most of them are not applicable to identify relevant traffic situations which are of importance for fully automated driving and ADAS. To overcome this limitation, we present a concept including filtering and rating of potentially relevant situations. Identified situations are described in a formal, abstract and human readable way. Finally, a situation catalogue is built up and linked to system requirements to derive test cases using a Domain Specific Language (DSL). Document type: Part of book or chapter of book

Part 2: Real World; International audience; In this paper, we present a practical approach to generate the constraint engine for an effective constraint-based intrusion detection system (IDS). The IDS framework was designed for safety-sensitive networks that involve limited-access closed networks such as the networks for command and control systems or Air Traffic Control (ATC) systems. The constraint engine generated by the framework supports real-time performance while ensuring the intended, normal behaviour of its target networks. We present the IDS framework in terms of its internal DSL representation as well as its transformation mechanisms to generate the constraint engine code. Comparing the autogenerated version against a manually implemented, optimized version of the constraint engine indicates no significant difference in terms of their performance. Abstract

International audience; Automation is one of the key solutions proposed and adopted by international Air Transport research programs to meet the challenges of increasing air traffic. For automation to be safe and usable, it needs to be suitable to the activity it supports, both when authoring it and when operating it. Here we present Vizir, a Domain-Specific Graphical Language and an Environment for authoring and operating airport automations. We used a participatory-design process with Air Traffic Controllers to gather requirements for Vizir and to design its features. Vizir combines visual interactionoriented programming constructs with activity-related geographic areas and events. Vizir offers explicit humancontrol constructs, graphical substrates and means to scaleup with multiple automations. We propose a set of guidelines to inspire designers of similar usable hybrid humanautomation system
