Dr.R.Arulmozhiyal received her B.E. and M.E. degrees in electrical engineering from University of Madras and Anna University in 1999 and 2006 respectively. She received her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Electrical engineering from Anna University, Coimbatore in 2011. Since 1999, she has been working as a Faculty member with Sona College of Technology, Tamilnadu, India, where she is currently a professor of electrical engineering in the electrical and electronics engineering department. She has established Sona-PEDAC R&D centre, which is actively involved in many R&D projects, while engaging in teaching, research and consulting in the area of control and drives.  Her research interests include high-performance motor drives, research and development of intelligent applications for manufacturing systems and industrial applications. Dr.R.Arulmozhiyal was recipient of the best faculty award in EEE Stream from the Nehru Group of Institutions, 2011. She was also the Best Women Engineer Award in 2012, from Institution of Engineers (India) and also acted as a jury member of session chair in IEEE Industrial Electronics & Application conference held in Singapore, 2012.  She has received the ISTE Periyar Award for the Best Engineering College Teacher in year of 2014.  Dr. R.Arulmozhiyal is a senior member in IEEE, life time member in ISTE and  Fellow member in IE (I). She has published forty technical papers in national and international media through journals and conferences.
