About me

Aitor Arriaga

Holds a degree and a PhD in Polymer Engineering from London Metropolitan University. His career has combined academic lectures with providing technological services and research to companies, primarily in the automotive sector.

Since 2015, with the establishment of Leartiker S. Coop., a multi-disciplinary technology center dedicated to research and innovation in polymer materials, his work has focused on characterizing thermo-mechanical properties and predicting material behavior under use conditions through finite element simulation techniques.

Over the past two years, he has led the development of a new research line aimed at creating accelerated characterization methodologies to address the long-term performance of composite polymer materials, including the study of creep, stress relaxation, fatigue, and thermal aging effects. At the same time, research is being conducted on the use of artificial intelligence tools to identify key performance indicators, explore interrelationships, and predict the durability of manufactured materials and components, with the goal of reducing design and product development cycles in industrial environments
