En este artículo se propone el estudio de las rimas siguiendo la perspectiva de Roman Jakobson. Teniendo en cuenta también el debate de Crátilo y la cuestión de la motivación del signo lingüístico, se trata de acercarse al uso de asonancias en la obra de Calderón. Como ejemplo sirve la asonancia en ó-o y se analiza en qué contextos aparece y qué efectos produce. Se logra de esta manera relacionar el sonido de la asonancia en ó-o principalmente con momentos de gravedad y soberbia.This article retakes the study of rhyme structures in the tradition of Roman Jakobson. Taking into account the Cratylus debate and the problem of the motivation of the linguistic sign, the author shows a first approach to the use of assonances in Calderón’s plays. The article presents the assonance on ó-o and shows in which circumstances it appears and what kind of effects it produces relating its sound to moments of gravity and arrogance.<br />
