−	En la última década se ha realizado un gran esfuerzo en conseguir una transición entre la actual economía lineal hacía una economía circular. Esta transición también afecta el sector de composites, que, debido a la complejidad intrínseca de reciclado, requiere la implementación de procesos de recuperación y remanufactura que sean técnica, económica y medioambientalmente factibles. Este reto ha sido abordado dentro del proyecto FiberEUse, en el que una de las líneas de trabajo se ha basado en el reciclaje de residuos procedentes del sector eólico y aeronáutico. Se ha recuperado tanto la fibra de vidrio como de carbono mediante pirolisis. Posteriormente, se ha tratado y procesado la fibra reciclada con matrices termoplásticas comúnmente utilizadas en aplicaciones de automoción. Se presentan en este trabajo las tecnologías utilizadas y los resultados obtenidos durante toda la cadena de valor, desde el residuo hasta la pieza. Se han fabricado mediante compounding-inyección formulaciones con diferentes fibras recicladas, con y sin tratamientos de ensimaje y con diferentes matrices. Estos materiales han sido analizados y ensayados mecánicamente con el objetivo de seleccionar tres formulaciones que han sido validadas en prototipos reales de automoción: un soporte de pedales, un soporte estructural frontal y un soporte de la rejilla vierteaguas. Por ultimo los prototipos fueron fabricados, ensayados y validados por las empresas de automoción.

Formulations with different recycled fibers, with and without sizing treatments and with different matrices, were manufactured by compounding-injection. These materials were mechanically analysed and tested with the aim of selecting three formulations. The reinforced materials were validated in three real automotive prototypes: a pedal bracket, a front-end and a cowl top support. As a result, the prototypes were manufactured, tested and validated by the automotive companies.''
