Análisis de la posverdad y, especialmente, del fenómeno subyacente de las fake news (noticias falsas) en lo que atañe a la evaluación y capacidad para identificar fuentes fiables y el papel de las bibliotecas como infomediarias. Se revisan las principales iniciativas internacionales propuestas por organismos como la IFLA o la ALA y se proponen, a tenor de la bibliografía consultada, dos principales vías de actuación: la inclusión en programas de alfabetización informacional, principalmente ampliando las alfabetizaciones mediáticas para que estén orientadas desde una perspectiva más cívica; y la curación de contenidos, realizando guías temáticas que sean un punto de información sobre el fenómeno y sus herramientas de verificación de hechos, pero que también actúen de pasarela para difundir información propia de la colección de la biblioteca.
