Abstract

This research aimed to develop a unique framework to help architects understand and apply architectural management (AM) in their practices. A comprehensive literature review identified several components belonging to different specialist fields. A pragmatic methodology for developing the framework was adopted by combining the methodology of Japareen for building conceptual frameworks with the Concept Mapping and Qualitative Met-Synthesis techniques. The resulting framework underwent a series of testing stages aimed at refining the framework further. The testing process targeted two groups (researchers and professionals) by adopting a mixed method approach, which included a facilitated workshop, interviews, and a questionnaire survey. The feedback from the testing phase was used to create the final AM Taxonomy Framework (AMTF), and served as an original and practical guide for practitioners, further extending their understanding of AM. Further validation and refinement are planned in the long term by applying the framework to selected architectural practices.

Many companies are addressing the redesign of their corporate intranet. There is an open discussion on the use of search engines compared to navigation menus; those subjects were already discussed in the 90s, with the first intranet generation. In our judgement, the great improvements in search engine capabilities do not replace the need for good classification and taxonomy structures in intranet architecture.

In this paper, we present a vocal ontology of"br" OpenStreetMap data for the apprehension of space by visually"br" impaired people. Indeed, the platform based on produsage gives a"br" freedom to data producers to choose the descriptors of geocoded"br" locations. Unfortunately, this freedom, called also folksonomy leads"br" to complicate subsequent searches of data. We try to solve this issue"br" in a simple but usable method to extract data from OSM databases in"br" order to send them to visually impaired people using Text To Speech"br" technology. We focus on how to help people suffering from visual"br" disability to plan their itinerary, to comprehend a map by querying"br" computer and getting information about surrounding environment in"br" a mono-modal human-computer dialogue. Abstract

The present article proposes a new lector schema for the analysis of autographs. This schema presents a taxonomy of the corrections according to the stages of production of a discourse in ancient rhetoric: inventio, dispositio and elocutio. This taxonomy allows to describe Calderón’s writing process in a better way. Applying this taxonomy during the analysis of an autograph it should be possible to determine more precisely which phase of textual production the autograph in question reflects.

Abstract

The widespread use of online social networks (OSN) among young people has been accompanied by an increase of publications about them and their effects on the psychosocial development of users. Previous panoramic reviews on OSN research are now outdated and do not provide a comprehensive view of the complexity of the user experience. The aims of this systematic review were three: to identify quantitative studies on OSN; to build a taxonomy about the user experience; and to classify studied variables in the topics and subtopics. The literature search and review according to PICoS strategy led to 546 identified publications that met the eligibility criteria. The taxonomy included nine major topics: overall use; activities and types of use; perceptions and attitudes OSN; the social network of online contacts; needs and motives for use; profile and privacy management; social processes; identity processes; and cognitive-emotional processes related to use of OSN. The three most studied topics were: overall use; activities and types of use; and social processes related to use of OSN. Classification and quantification of the different variables studied about the users’ experience is detailed. Several theoretical perspectives are discussed, as well as the gaps and challenges in OSN research. The proposed taxonomy could be useful for researchers to better delineate the aims of future studies.

National audience; The displays used by the air traffic controllers involve many animated visual entities. They are constrained by precise rules of representation. The richness of these representations highlights the lack of tools that may characterize them. The increments of such an instrument are numerous, in terms of validation, design and safety. The objective of the thesis is to study representations, to find out methods of characterization that would allow comparisons between representations, and eventually to check their interests.; Les images utilisées par les contrôleurs aériens comportent de nombreuses entités visuelles animées.Elles sont soumises à des règles de représentation précises.La richesse de ces représentations a mis en évidence l’absence d’outils permettant de les caractériser.Les incréments d’un tel instruments ont multiples, en termes de validation, de design et de sécurité.L’objectif de la thèse est d’étudier des représentations,de trouver des méthodes de caractérisation afin notamment de permettre des comparaisons entres vues et de vérifier leur intérêt.

Abstract

This article presents a review of the literature on Reverse Logistics (RL) research, application cases and exploration. Various databases were used to retrieve articles. This review has allowed to analyze initial concepts of RL and complementary ones with new optics and arguments developed by various authors. The main contribution is the taxonomy proposed in the development of the article. It was made up of relationship of themes and terms found in the literary review. Also, the most important fields of application and future trends in RL have been identified, where it has been determined that it is necessary to extend the analysis of RL towards an economic, social, cultural and environmental perspective.
