Abstract

Review of the complex construction of the brief comic theater of Calderón, taking as reference two entremeses: La casa holgona y Las carnestolendas, and one mojiganga, La garapiña, highlighting the elements of scenic comic elements. In other words, the comic sense that depends of the interpretation of actors in the stage. These elements may be redundant, complementary or essential for the humorous contents. This consideration is made without neglecting that the sum and sign relation between the two discourses (dramatic and spectacular) has a bigger effect that only one of them.

Abstract

Alejandro Higashi studies the mechanisms by which an author like Calderón was able to perform a metaphor on scene and favour a scenic interpretation of the poetic text in order to stimulate in the public the construction of the meaning and a coherent comprehension associated with the historical weavings.To attain it, Calderón takes advantage of the tools of the language, the performance and the textual and scenic resources.
