Abstract

The association of televiewers from Catalonia (TAC) has been working in the field of education since 1999. They aim to guarantee healthy audio-visual habits in children. For that purpose they offer the educative institutions tools which contribute to diminish television´s negative effects on all the school circles: parents, teachers and students. At the same time, they help them to take advantage on such an extended and important means of communication.
