Abstract

Television has a decisive influence on present sports. Television is frequently the main source of income for sports. Different sports have been transformed to adapt to television coverage. Sports television production has allowed watching technical aspects of live sports. The digital technology development has revolutionized the reception of images and sounds of the sport. From the educational viewpoint, video replays allow the analysis of gesture and action in sports. The deve-lopment of virtual reality techniques has discovered new aspects of sports. The integration of television with the Internet and mobile phone is creating new ways to show educational values of physical activity and sport.
