Abstract

There is no doubt that in a globalized market (highly competitive and demanding, which seeks excellence, honesty and business creativity) Public Relations must be constructed as a social science, multidisciplinary and flexible, directed not only to the attainment of corporate objectives, but also to follow closely the development of rural communities, the various guilds, unions and NGOs; institutions, State authorities and citizen groups in general.

Only a deep understanding of the purpose of Public Relations holistic (committed to the progress and well-being of the country) and the empathic comprehension of positions and demands of the various social actors will legitimize extractive activities in conflict scenarios (such as can currently be seen in Peru) and the consequent strengthening of the financial dynamics of the country; the increase in rates of employment, the reduction of extreme poverty; and the creation of solidarity links between business class and society: both gathered in a joint and civic work.

Abstract

La pandèmia causada per la COVID-19 va irrompre de manera sobtada i va causar una transformació en els models d’aplicació de la comunicació interna al haver d’adaptar les seves accions a un panorama laboral que, en alguns casos, esdevindria híbrid, combinant el treball a distància amb el presencial. La literatura científica estudia àmpliament els beneficis i l’impacte de la comunicació interna en el funcionament corporatiu i en el benestar dels treballadors però es detecten pocs estudis sobre les seves aplicacions en metodologies de treball híbrides.

La necessitat de les organitzacions per arribar a tots els seus treballadors indistintament de la localització des de la qual duen a terme la seva feina és important pels beneficis que la implementació del teletreball ha aportat al mon corporatiu. Petcu et al., (2023) destaquen el teletreball com a facilitador d'una millor integració del treball a la vida personal, millorant així la seva qualitat de vida.

Un dels motius principals de la necessitat de la seva investigació recau en que el teletreball pot reduir la freqüència d'interaccions, especialment entre empleats del mateix nivell jeràrquic, i no té les comunicacions espontànies típiques de l'entorn d'oficina (Viererbl et al., 2022). I per tant, això suggereix la necessitat que les organitzacions fomentin la comunicació entre els seus professionals remots per preservar aquests elements vitals.

Abstract

Background: Patient safety, as a key aspect of quality of care, has become a priority aim of quality management in health systems.Aim: to analyze the relationship between patient safety and the evidence-based nursing practice environment.Methods: cross-sectional study, in 72 nursing professionals working in a public hospital in Chubut. The Nursing Works Index Nursing Practice Environment Scale and the Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture were used.Results: The survey included 73.6 % women and 26.4 % men, with an average age of 41.1 years (± 7.6), ranging from 29 to 60 years. Fifty percent of the sample had a professional nursing degree, 41.7% had a bachelor's degree in nursing and 8.3% had a master's degree. When analyzing the correlation between HSOPSC score and NWI nursing practice environment, a significant correlation was found (r=0.4984; P<0.0001). Conclusions: The patient safety culture is in average indicators, in this sense it is necessary to carry out improvement actions on systematic approaches to errors, in professional teams and in administration, are priorities to strengthen patient safety in the hospital. A statistically significant positive correlation was found, which means that the better the evidence-based nursing practice environment, the greater the patient safety culture.

Abstract

Background: Patient safety, is trying to avoid injury to or patients assisted by healthcare personnel, is an essential component in quality of care. In recent times, patient safety is considered as paramount in daily practices.Aim: to analyze the patient safety culture of nursing staff in a private institution in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.Methods: an observational, descriptive, cross-sectional, retrospective, descriptive study was carried out. The sample consisted of 76 nursing professionals, selected by non-probabilistic convenience sampling. The Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture in its Spanish version was used as an instrument.Results: 68.4% were female, the average age was 42.05 years and 52.6% of the personnel had a professional nursing degree. None of the dimensions acquired values in the order of 4 average points.Conclusions: The analysis of patient safety culture, in the perception of the nursing teams under study, with different types of management, has shown that patient safety is not strengthened; in our study a "neutral" or "low" safety score prevailed. Therefore, it is understood as crucial to raise the awareness of managers in each type of administrative sphere and of health professionals for the promotion of patient safety culture, as well as the training of these professionals.
