Abstract

This paper explores the Horacian topic «ut pictura poiesis» which has offered such good results on the analysis of calderonians texts, but not only: it also incorporates the relationship of other arts (music, scenery, etc.) to study the complex network of mythological comedies that Calderón were represented in court environments. Thus, the author traces the interactions between existing artistic works of outstanding importance as the palatial party La fiera, el rayo y la piedra, La púrpura de la rosa or El hijo del sol, Faetón.
