Abstract

This reflection is based on practical experience with the redefinition of a document management system based on ISO 30301 in a company that has adopted an integrated management system. Records and documents management is being reoriented from paper files and large quantities of scanned documents, towards electronic document management and the paperless office. We have designed a system that fits perfectly in the integrated system so that the Records Management System becomes a keys trategic element for organizational change.

Abstract

This article questions the appropriateness of considering records management policy in the regulatory context of the National Interoperability Framework, thereby reducing it to a technical question limited to electronic documents. A records management policy is a strategic issue of key importance in the context of e-Government projects.
