Abstract

Nowadays national and international reflection on television and mass media in general is based on the activities that the European Observatory for Children´s Television has been carrying out for nine years. This paper proposes to integrate all screens into one ideal screen and to define a series of categories which show how to work whith quality contents, especially for children and youngsters, the most vulnerable audience, who spend more time in front of screens than at school or socializing with their friends, and sometimes even with their own families. The paper ends with comments on a series of proposals and international initiatives about quality television, not only from the theoretical point of view, but from the practical point of view, which allow us to hope that the people who works on media would understand the importance of their educational wolves in order to achieve a total and satisfactory integrations of future citizens into the society of information.

onic proceedings; International audience; AutoNet2030 - Co-operative Systems in Support of Networked Automated Driving by 2030 - is a European project connecting two domains of intensive research: cooperative systems for Intelligent Transportation Systems and Automated Driving. Given the latest developments in the standardization of vehicular communications, vehicles will soon be wirelessly connected, enabling cooperation among them and with the infrastructure. At the same time, some vehicles will offer very advanced driving assistance systems, ranging from Cooperative Adaptive Cruise Control (C-ACC) to full automation. The research issues addressed in AutoNet2030 are as follows: how can all these vehicles with different capabilities most efficiently cooperate to increase safety and fluidity of the traffic system? What kind of information should be exchanged? Which organization (e.g. centralized or distributed) is the best? The purpose of this paper is to introduce the vision and concepts underlying the AutoNet2030 project and the direction of this ongoing research work.

Abstract

This paper tries to show a present vision in teacher´s training based on communication and information technologies (CIT) and to present an example of how a diagnostic questionnaire is drawn up to detect teachers-to-be´s needs and knowledge in different subjects. The useful aspects of these technologies are evident. That´s why the future teacher needs to have a knowledge of critical aspects and to show their advantages and disadvantages, because the communication and information technologies are not only a simple didactic tool, but also resources to learn, which help the teaching process for the teacher and the learning process for the student.
