This article focuses on the mechanisms and the dramatic features of the hagiographic comedies of Juan Pérez de Montalbán, from the analysis of a little-studied drama, El divino portugués, San Antonio de Padua, an excellent example of comedia de santos gender and a good example of the dramatic art of Pérez de Montalbán.

The main trends observed in the library and information science labour market and university education in 2012 have a general tone of survival with resignation. The economic crisis has caused many layoffs and left libraries without funds. New documents on professional ethics are mentioned. In the labour market, there is employment loss in the public sector. The decline in university enrolments that started in 2002 seems to have stopped and there has been a slight recovery with the new graduate title

We are social beings and we have been creating networks since our inception. The network represents a new paradigm for social and economic development that has been called the “Network Society”. People who use digital tools intensively are fragmenting their identity into multiple local and global networks. The social network services are a simplification and a restriction of the variety of social interactions. The combination of various Web 2.0 tools seems more interesting than the Facebook model.

A tour is provided of the features, possibilities, scientific, technical and technologies that are collected under the interdisciplinary umbrella of big data and web analytics from the point of view of its application in practice. A reflection is offered about the challenges, risks and problems that the tools and data cannot resolve on their own, as well as the contexts in which these data processing techniques are useful for decision making.

A formula is presented to evaluate the importance of libraries to our society, and it is applied both retrospectively and futuristically, extrapolating a 2030 scenario. The conclusion is that if the current generation of librarians does not introduce radical changes in the role of libraries, their future is seriously threatened.

Abstract

Many important filmmakers have perfected their cinematographic technique by filming advertisements. For this reason, it is not surprising that advertising materials are often included when filmmakers donate their work to a film archive. However, these materials are not always properly catalogued and their dissemination and use is quite limited. This paper describes the quantity and variety of advertising documents preserved in the Spanish film archives, emphasizes their importance as primary information sources for understanding the history of advertising in particular and of cinematography in general, and explains some of the difficulties and challenges of analysing them as documents. The challenge of documentary control of these materials lies not only in the amount of work, but 1) the lack of a methodology that encompasses all documentary procedures and 2) the lack of qualified personnel.

Abstract

We propose a new method for the multiple attribute decision making problem. In this problem, the decision making information assembles multiple source data. Two main advantages of this proposed approach are that (i) it provides a data fusion technique, which can efficiently deal with the multisource decision making information; (ii) it can produce the degree of credibility of the entire decision making. The proposed method performs very well especially for the scenario that there exists conflict among the multiple source information.
