La revista Gaceta Técnica es una publicación semestral y constituye un espacio académico para la divulgación de trabajos científicos originales, de carácter interdisciplinario y multidisciplinario relacionados con el campo de la Ingeniería Civil, Urbanismo, Arquitectura, así como Enseñanza y Ciencias Básicas aplicadas en Ingeniería.
Visión: Ser un espacio de divulgación académico y científico en el área de la ingeniería, arquitectura, urbanismo y ciencias aplicadas en ambientes educativos, con altos niveles de calidad académica.
Misión: Promover redes de intercambio y cooperación mediante la publicación de artículos científicos y temáticas vinculadas con el área de la ingeniería civil, arquitectura, urbanismo y otras disciplinas científicas.
Objetivos:

Consolidar un medio para la difusión de los trabajos de investigadores noveles y expertos.
Promover la producción intelectual en las distintas áreas del saber científico que hacen vida en el decanato y en la universidad.
Brindar a la comunidad científica la oportunidad de intercambio de experiencias exitosas en la construcción y promoción del conocimiento científico.
Estimular la productividad académica de los docentes e investigadores.
Fortalecer la creación y desarrollo de actividades científicas orientadas a mejorar la calidad de vida de la sociedad.

Gaceta Técnica journal is published twice a year and is an academic for the dissemination of original scientific papers, interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary related of Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Architecture and Basic Education and Applied Sciences in Engineering space.
