Master and Degree in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Mechanics (1994) from the University of Navarra, Campus Donostia-San Sebastián and PhD in Mechanical Engineering (2014) from the UPV/EHU. The doctoral thesis "Análisis del comportamiento mecánico de laminados cruzados biestables", received the prize for the best doctoral thesis awarded by the Fundación Iberoamericana de Ingeniería Mecánica in 2015.
After practicing her profession in various industries (Fundial, Uribesalgo, Linausa, etc) since 2004 she has been working in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the Faculties of Engineering Gipuzkoa and Vitoria-Gasteiz. Associate Professor since 2014

She is a member of the UPV/EHU Research Group "Mechanics of Materials, MECMAT". Academic stays in foreign research centers in USA (Composite and Intelligent Materials Laboratory of the Mechanical Engineering Department), UK (Bristol Composites Institute, University of Bristol), France, ISABTP (Institut Supérieur Aquitaine du Bâtiment et des Travaux Publics).

Licenciada en Ingeniería Superior Industrial, especialidad Mecánica (1994) por la Universidad de Navarra, Campus Donostia-San Sebastián y doctora en Ingeniería Mecánica (2014) por la UPV/EHU. La tesis doctoral “Análisis del comportamiento mecánico de laminados cruzados biestables”, recibió el premio a la mejor tesis doctoral otorgada por la Fundación Iberoamericana de Ingeniería Mecánica en 2015.

Tras ejercer la profesión en diversas industrias (Fundial, Uribesalgo, Linausa, etc) desde 2004 ejerce como profesora en el Departamento de Ingeniería Mecánica en las Escuelas de Ingeniería Gipuzkoa y en la de Vitoria-Gasteiz. Profesora Agregada desde 2014.
